The idea with Ink/Stitch is that you draw out a set of instructions that explain to Ink/Stitch the kinds of stitches you want. That's not the use case we're aiming for. "Autopunch" tools try to take any image and convert them into a machine embroidery design automatically, figuring out where to do fill stitch, running stitch, satin stitch, and so on, and what order to do things in. As hinted at in #349, Ink/Stitch isn't intended as an "autopunch" tool. In general though, you're not likely to get good results from simply tracing an image and then running Embroider on it. For example, the j in Projekt is one path with two disconnected shapes in it. I think the problem in this case is the same as in #360.
